Storyline:
This is a game about a femme fatale for the PS2. A half vampire who joins a society to fight otherworldly montsters and
"pre-nazi's" (which are basically nazi's, but since it is before they were officially in the nazi party zeig
heil thing. this happens a few years after the game) In this you are taking out everything it seems. From arachnid like
monsters to werewolves and zombies (which were creepy, cause, well, try it and see, there were two types..) And taking
out German Commanders and Generals by using multiple powers and weapons in her arsenal. In the game you use different
guns, from pistols to grenade launchers (love that Panzerfaust), and using your own attached weapons that are on your arms.
These things are so cool, you have these switchblade sword things on your arms. You can hack people to pieces with these,
especially using her power, Bloodrage. Basically she gets mad, the game goes in to bullet time like on Max Payne, and you
hack people to pieces with mere taps. Overall a great game. A bloodbath with laughs put in for those who listen to her talk.
Graphics 8 out of 10
Wow, these graphics were great, and don't get me wrong, flying body parts are cool and all, and watching her ribbons
in her hair flying around realistically was cool when you were in bullet time, but some of it can get a bit comfusing and
there seemed to be a few pretty bad glitches that were annoying as hell. But the gameplay takes away from the glitches. Great
graphics, realistic backgrounds, good character model for the main character, though they could've done a bit more and made
more than 2 people the nazi's can be.
Storyline 9-10
The storyline overall was good, though it makes you feel like you missed some stuff when they talk about the past and
about BloodRayne's father and such. Lots of different things to absorb, but once you understand it's simple. Has a lot to
do with demons, and the commanders and targets you must take out aren't all unique, but the ones that are were fun. (Like
the nazi twins)
Control 10-10
These controls were so easy to learn and remember. This button does this and this does this. I had no problem with the
controls. Overall, it makes the game better if anything.
Voice acting 9-10
Yeah the voice of the heroin was good, quiet at times, with lots of, as 006 of the movie goldeneye said "glib remarks
and pithy comebacks", as well as funny comments on situations. Thing is, the german accents all sounded funny, real, but funny.
And everyone sounded exactly the same, save for important bosses. Still good though.
Overall: 9-10
If you're into hack and slash and 3rd person shooters, chances are you'll like this. Very fun, good control, decent voice
acting, good script, darn good graphics. ^_^ I liked it!
Rent or Buy:
Well it's been out for a while and it's cheap, so you won't be losing out too much if you buy it and don't like it. I'd
say buy! This game is good for the gore and the giggles.

Klonoa 2 Lunatea's Veil
Storyline 6 out of 10:
Klonoa 2 is about how you are mysteriously thrown into another land and you meet
new people, and learn they need your help. The main goal in the plot is stopping the 5th bell from being risen or else the
world would be thrown into chaos. This game has a deeper storyline then you would think, and you have to play it for yourself
to find out.
Graphics: 7 out of 10
The graphics. They are cell shaded and have a 3d enviroment which is very well
done for a launch title for the system at the time (PS2) the characters are very well done and detailed.
Controls: 9-10
Easy to learn, and make the game more enjoyable.
Voice Acting: 9 out of 10
The voice acting is all in Japanese so there a lot of reading in it due to subtitles.
If you're not into reading in video games or too lazy to read a lot Do Not Play This!!! The Japanese voices fit the characters
and they're not annoying. The mouths don't keep on moving after the person done talking which is always a plus.
Overall: 9-10. Read below about this in the rent or buy.
Rent or buy: If you're into side
scrollers you should like it. This a very hard to find game anywhere. If you do see it anywhere for rent or buy pick it up.
You will not regret such a hidden gem for the ps2. Do NOT Play this if you're using drugs or are drunk or you will loose it.

The Legend of Dragoon
Storyline 9 out of 10
This game is about a group of people travelling together to prevent the earth from being destroyed, although it doesn't
start off that way. You start off with just one character, a sword master named Dart, and eventually end up travelling with
more people along the way. He carries with him a momento that used to belong to his father, that momento is the
spirit of the dragoon. In the begining he has know knowledge of it's power, but as he gains the help of new companions,
he begins to understand the power that he has. Each character has their own unique fighting style and weapon of choice.
They also have what are called additions, when you have to press the X button at a certain time, often more than
once, to pull off a combo attack. The dragoon spirits allow increased attack power and magic attacks. The only thing that I
think the game lacked was an overdrive bar or a limit break, that would have been cool too.
Graphics 7 out of 10
For the time the game was released I felt the graphics were lacking, with of course the exception of the cinematics,
they were very well done. The game was released around the time that final fantasy 8 was released, and it had graphics that
were similar to final fantasy 7, they could have improved the graphics a bit.
Controls 10 out of 10
If you have trouble with controls this easy then you have some serious problems, the tutorial at the begining explains
everything clear as day, and after you realize the power of the dragoon spirit, there is a tutorial on how to use that too.
Voice Acting 5 out of 10
Most of the game had no voice acting at all, except for times when you completed an addition, then the character would
scream the name of the combo. There was also some voice acting in the cinematics, those things rocked!
Overall 9 out of 10
This is an rpg game and much more, with addtion system it makes the game much more interactive. The music during battle
is just great, especially boss battles. The numerous additions are always great, and the magic spells are awesome too.
Rent or Buy:
I would definetely recommend buying this game, mainly because of the reason that it takes a really freakin long time
to complete it. Not to mention that it has been out for a few years now and is dirt cheap. Overall it was a really fun game
for the low price.

Call of Duty
Platform: PC Genre: WWII FPS Players: 1 Multiplayer: yes
Storyline: 10-10
The fantastic and historic world of Call of Duty takes place not in the future, but in the historic past during World
War II. The scenarios pretty much surrounding D-Day and the storming of Normandy, you play the role of not just one, but three
different characters: Infantryman Alexei from the Russian army, Sergeant Evans from the Royal Air Force of Great Britain,
and Private Martin from the 501st Airborne unit in the United States Army. What is great about this storyline is much to do
with it’s historical relevance: It wasn’t just one person that won World War II, but rather many that fought for
the same goal. The first thing about the storyline that I like is its historical accuracy. While the game is fictional,
they are correct in the type of weaponry used, the way the soldiers acted, and how the battles were actually like, and in
the heightened difficulties, the gunfights actually become much more lifelike, resulting in one hit kills…both delivered
and received. The other thing I like about the storyline as I mentioned above would be the fact that you really need the rest
of your teammates, whether they are human or AI, to survive through the levels and the multiplayer. One-Man-Army isn’t
possible, since all the bad guys know your coming, and in many cases, they have the upper hand on you. Yet, there are its
slight flaws still…like how your comrades and enemies can take shot after shot and just keep on going. While a little
odd, it IS a game, and does need it’s difficulties, such as having the enemies not dying and giving you more of a challenge.
Graphics: 9-10
Overall, the graphics were done quite well, with some little mishaps here and there. The characters
were drawn fairly accurate to their historical counterparts, as were the weaponry. The real beef I had was some of the landscaping
and such, like craters and vegetation…but there is only so far that we can really go with modern technology. But aside
from that, the graphics were really well done; down to watching a fellow comrade get shot and watching the blood spew in a
cloud from their wounds. A good show indeed!
Control: 9-10
While appearing difficult at first, one adapts
to the controls quite quickly. A couple of bonuses in the controls, they remain quite distinct to the avid FPS player, what
with the movement and firing mechanisms. Also, the firing system is similar to a game like Counter-strike; as you fire, you
become less accurate. This requires the use of Burst-firing in order to maintain accuracy while going full auto, and firing
whilst standing still or crouching in order to increase accuracy further. Some things I would like to point out as far
as special in the controls of this game: The first would be the use of the “Prone” position, which to sum up,
is lying down on the ground. This ability serves as a way to further increase the accuracy of your weaponry, including steadying
your sniper-rifle aim. The only problem is that you move terribly slowly, and cannot use your weapon while crawling a la “commando
style.” Another new plus would be the use of leaning. This little skill is quite useful, making hitting your character
much harder, as you can stand behind a wall and lean out from behind and take some pot-shots. Only problem with this is that
in the more difficult levels of play, the enemies shoot more accurately, and they do much more damage, up to the same damage
that you would deliver, which means head-shots galore. The next two abilities make this game very fun for me. The first
being the lesser of the two, would be the melee attacks. While much more useful in the single player, the use of melee attacks
can be used pretty much anywhere on anyone unsuspecting or too close for you. It is far superior in the single player, where
you can shoot an enemy once to knock them down, and then finish them off with a rifle butt in the face. The next ability,
which makes this game much easier once mastered, is toggling Aiming down the site of the weapon. Instead of having alternate
firing modes (which some guns do have, such as switching from full auto to semi-auto), the right mouse button can be used
to line the gun up to your eyes and aim using the iron site on the gun as a way to aim. This not only makes the gun far superior
accuracy wise, it gives you an edge on shooting your opponents, since where your gun is trained is where it will hit. The
only problem with this is much like in real life; you cant see lower than your eye level, since the gun is in the way, and
you move MUCH slower in this mode, due to the steadying of the gun. Aside from those flaws, the ability is one of the most
useful I’ve ever used.
Voice Acting: 8-10
I liked it a lot, but in some cases, I would have preferred
to watch the Russians speak in Russian, as opposed to speaking English with a Russian accent. Yet all in all, the characters
speak fairly well, and the voice acting in the game works out well
Overall: 9-10
Well…the first time
I played this game was in Poland over at a Polish Kid’s house. I fell in love, got back to the states, and bought it
as soon as I could. The best part is the historical accuracy in the game, like the battle for Stalingrad and the Red Square,
the seizing of bridges, and the pathfinder missions that American troops utilized for paratroopers. They also kept the weaponry
very accurate, shapes and all. Second, the game-play is great. Not only is the single player very fun and quite challenging
on the harder difficulties, the multiplayer is just as challenging and really requires teamwork to succeed. So I give it a
good old 9, and give it an A+ for being a great game!
Rent or Buy: Buy
If you like WWII shooters, then go
and get this game now! Even a gaming magazine I read considered it the 6th best PC game currently out in the commercial field.
So get up off your lazy bottoms, and if you don’t have this game, GO GET IT!

OK so today i'm reviewing... Devil May Cry 3.
Storyline: Many MANY years ago, a demon called Sparda sealed the gateway to hell to save mankind. He had a human wife,
who bore him twin boys, Dante and Vergil. Well fastforward about 20 years, and after many sibling rivalries and fights, they
went their seperate ways... Dante opens up a devil killing business, while Vergil has different, and much more sinister plans..
Opening the gate to hell.. And ruling over it. Mostly in this game, you take out monsters with scythes (they're everywhere)
spiders, and the basic castle-ey monsters (suits of armor and the like). It's a very difficult game, I won't lie to you. I
had to cheat, and I still have trouble.
Graphics 9/10
Overall the graphics on this baby were NIIIIICE.. only problem I had were odd camera angles, which were few and far between.
Overall I really liked them, nothin really wrong, I liked how they did this game... A LOT.
Storyline 8/10
Ok so the storyline......Kinda repetative.. He's my father so it's my father that did this but my father did this so
my father did this blahblah. Otherwise it's good, they throw in a few surprises. Easy to follow even if you put the game down
for a while, and they make it so you can backtrack to other levels so you can see the cutscenes again. Very groovy.
Control 10/10
Great controls. Easy to remember. The pressure sensitivity comes in handy where you gotta jump just a little.
Voice acting 10/10
Ahhh very good. Everyone was done well. Dante has the same cockiness, Vergil sounds like the dink he is, Lady sounds
as whiney as she is. :P Very cool.
Overall: 9/10
A very good game. Especially with the different job systems. Makes it easier to play through, so you have something to
work towards. Well done, and makes you want to play the other two games.
Rent or buy: Wait till the price goes down, and buy. It's worth it, especially to fans of action games.
